What is your schedule I live in Michigan with underground sprinkling and I always get spot

What do you attribute the the source of the fungus, was it grass type or weather or both?

I have client that we do maintenance on there beds and had same issue. What we did was dug out plants. Tilled everything out. Ripping out all roots. Put day Lillie's back and thinned them out. 1 or 2 weeks later sprayed anything we missed. So far it's been undercontrol. This was done last year too.

Anyone have deja vu?

Do you switch spray tips between foliar / soil amendments? Also, do you use surfactant during all seasons or only in spring/fall? I always see pros using the same spray tip, so I wonder how it can stick well to the blades if it's a foliar app.

Bent grass is about 70% of my backyard. It attracts a lot of annoying insects. I will glyphosate and reseed.

grass is such an sustainable thing to have in yards . idk who came up with it but in order to keep bees and other pollinators around we should do away with large grass patches and replace it with wildflowers ect

If you know how to correctly edge with a trimmer it doesn’t even really take any longer. Don’t know why so many do that slant edging

Here in South Florida the landscapers only know how to cut grass. At this point I could teach them more than a few things. Thank god for people like Jake, Allyn, Ron Henry etc.

What are you spraying?

I noticed that you are walking forward while spraying. I prefer walking backwards if I am spraying anything on the lawn. This way, whatever I am spraying will not get on or under my shoes, on my pants, or inhaled. Just something to think about.

Do you really save a lot of money using liquid products? I feel that it takes so long to walk every yard vs using a machine with granular fertilizer

I understand this so many lawn guys do the tapered edge cause it's faster . Burnt edges. Look crappy

I always just use step edger (idk if that's what its really called, it's what we call it) it takes longer but always looks really good

I totally agree. Been doing this professionally for 5 years and barely surviving. But I’m passionate about giving my clients a quality lawn and service and I’m not giving up. Keep up fight and you will make it.

I have SR Model 21386 with the Briggs 163 cc engine. I also run a Honda self propelled with the 170 cc engine. If Model 21386 had dual blades it would be close to being 1:1 with the Honda. The main difference being that when the Personal Pace handle is disengaged, I have to push three steps forward before it actually disengages. This same Toro model series which came with the Honda engine is actually the premium version. The model you have has the Toro proprietary OEM engine either built in-house by Toro or it may have been one of the engines designed by Lawnboy which Toro acquired. Lawnboy used to make a 2-cycle self propelled lawnmower with the cast aluminum deck.

We should all be following at IPM system. This should dictate the spray technique.

How do you know which hose for the 4 zones? Which one is number 1? Bottom left or bottom right? From there clock wise or counter clock wise? This will be excellent to add since I have not found a video to explain which port is 1,2,3, and 4
